
Police Tuesday morning raided a building opposite from the Crime Suppression Division head office and arrested 11 persons, including two foreigners, for allegedly operating betting on baccarat games via Internet.
The twelve opened their office on the 12th floor of the Ros Tower II Building on Soi Phaholyothin 19 opposite from the CSD head office.
The raid by some 50 policemen took place on 10:30 am.
Two of the suspects were a Honk Kong man, identified as Than Yiu, and a Malaysian man.
Police said the group broadcast the baccarat games via Web cam through a web site, www.ok2628.com.
Police said two men in tuxedo were on web cam dealing card and gamblers would bet via Internet.
