Yongyuth says compensation for southern victims not covered those killed in Tak Bai, Kruse Mosque cases
Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Yongyuth Wichaidit said the compensation for southern violence victims would not cover those killed during the Tak Bai district protest and Kruse Mosque shooting.
He explained that the two cases were already taken care by two special committees, which are headed by Justice Minister Pracha Promnok.
Yongyuth said other cases of victims killed by officials would be titled to compensations ranging from Bt500,000 to Bt7 million.
