Yingluck will not nominate 10 mediators as proposed by independent organisations

Caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said Tuesday that her government would not nominate ten mediators to try to hold a negotiation with the People's Democratic Reform Committee.

Six independent organisations have called on the government and the PDRC to nominate ten mediators each to hold talks between the two sides.
Yingluck said she would not nominate the mediators because PDRC secretary general Suthep Thaugsuban had turned down the proposal.
“So, the government thinks that it will be useless to nominate ten mediators,” Yingluck said.
