Caretaker Prime Minister and Defence Minister Yingluck Shinawatra told the top brass to instruct their subordinates to check their voting right, a well-informed source said.

Yingluck gave the instruction while chairing a meeting of Defence Council at the Royal Thai Air Force headquarters.
Normally, a Defence Council meeting is held at the Defence Ministry but the ministry is prone to be surrounded by protesters so Yingluck moved to the Air Force.
Yingluck also told the top brass to take good care of weapons so that they would not be stolen for using to create situations.
