Wall St ends up

U.S. stocks closed up as investors await Federal Reserve new chief, Janet Yellen, who makes her first monetary policy report to lawmakers on Tuesday.

Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 7.71 points, or 0.1 per cent at 15,801.79.

S&P 500 gained 2.82 points, or 0.2 per cent at 1,799.84, with energy shares down the most, while healthcare stocks were

best performers among the 10 major industry groups.

Nasdaq composite added 22.31 points, or 0.5 per cent at 4,148.17.
