Wall St ends up

U.S. stocks closed up in thin trade, recovering losses from the last two sessions.

Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 61.66 points, or 0.46 per cent at 13,390.51.

S&P 500 gained 3.87 points, or 0.27 per cent at 1,461.02.

Nasdaq composite gained 14.00 points, or 0.45 per cent at 3,105.81.

Among key S&P sectors, health care and industrials gained, while financials closed lower.
