Wall St ends mixed

The Dow and S&P 500 reversed their losses to finish up overnight, but gains limited as further losses for Apple weighed on the technology shares, while investors remain on sidelines ahead of major corporate earnings reports.

Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 27.57 points, or 0.20 per cent, to end at 13,534.89.

S&P 500 edged up 1.66 points, or 0.11 per cent at 1,472.34, ending at 5-year high.

Nasdaq composite fell 6.72 points, or 0.22 per cent at 3,110.78.
