Wall St ends lower

U.S. stocks closed lower for second session weighed down by telecoms, as investors await expected weak 4th quarter earnings report.

Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 55.44 points, or 0.41 percent to 13,328.85.

S&P 500 lost 4.74 points, or 0.32 per cent at 1,457.15.

Most key S&P sectors closed down on telecoms, while materials gained.

Nasdaq composite dropped 7.00 points, or 0.23 per cent to 3,091.81.
