Visting Japanese PM interestred in Dawei project
To deepen relations in the strategic partnership with Thailand, Japan expressed its interest in participating development of Dawei project in Myanmar.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, in Thailand for an official visit, Thursday discussed the matter with Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
"Japan is very interested in [the project] and we would like to know what and how we could participate in the project," said Japanese foreign ministry's Press Secretary Yutaka Yokoi.
