People from countries affected by the Ebola outbreak in the last 21 days, will have to sign a medical declaration before entering Vietnam from August 15.
The decision follows an action plan issued yesterday by the Ministry of Health to prevent the Ebola virus infection from entering and spreading in Vietnam.
The health ministry has asked the relevant ministries of Public Security, National Defence, Transport and Foreign Affairs to join hands in supervising the signing of the medical declaration by people entering the country at all border gates.
The ministry said yesterday that Vietnam is yet to record any case of Ebola virus infection as of August 1.
