'Uncle Yim' released from military detention

The Army Friday released red-shirt activist Pruek Prueksunan, who is better known as "Uncle Yim who realises the truth".

Pruek has been detained since Tuesday after he reported to the National Council for Peace and Order.

Pruek said he has been taken good care and the Army officers allowed him to express his opinions to the full extent during the detention.

He said he was not tortured or beaten at all.
