Two ranger volunteers injured in Narathiwat bomb attack

Two ranger volunteers were injured in a roadside bomb attack in Narathiwat's Jor Irong district Thursday.



The 8am bombing in Jor Irong targeted a six-ranger patrolling team on three motorcycles. As ranger volunteers Boonpen Leeka and Jaroonsak Pitakkij inspected a bridge in tambon Mareubook, the hiding insurgents detonated the 20kg bomb via communication radio signal. The duo were rushed to Jor Irong Hospital.
