Theera elected new Chart Thai Pattana leader
Former agriculture minister Theera Wongsamut has been elected new leader of Chart Thai Pattana Party.
The party's general meeting on Tuesday unanimously voted for Theera, who was nominated without any contender.
Theera was elected to replace Chumpol Silapa-archa who passed away on January 21. While late party adviser Sanan Kochornprasart passed away on February 15, the meeting Tuesday introduced Pradit Pattaraprasit and Thanonsorn Lertritsirikul to replace them as party-list MPs.
