Thailand to host world press association conference
Thailand will host the 2013 annual conference of World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), which should draw over 1,000 editors and executives.
The Cabinet resolved on Wednesday that Thailand would host the event as requested. As the host, Thailand needs to come up with safety measures, supporting vehicles and facilitation on visa issuance as well as entry to key venues.
