Former Thailand national football player Suthin Chaikitti died of intestinal cancer at Ramathibodi Hospital Monday. He was 60.
A native of Chaiyaphum, Suthin, had been battling the disease for several years, undergoing two operations as well as chemotherapy.
Playing under the Rajpracha banner, Suthin was selected for the national squad in 1976 and played on until 1997. He was the team’s captain for 10 years.
