Thai beach spikers claim silver in Asian Championship
Thailand's Asian Beach Games winners Tanarattha Udomchawee/Varapatsorn Radarong took home silver medal in the Asian Beach Volleyball Championship in Jinjiang, China after going down in straight sets 21-23 13-21 to Australians Louise Bawden/Taliqua Clancy in the Sunday's final showdown.

En route to the Sunday’s final, the Thais brushed off Chinese Wang Fan/Yue Yuan 21-19 23-21 in the quarter-finals before thrashing Japanese Takemi Nishibori/Sayaka Mizoe 21-18 21-18 in the semi-finals. The Thai duo are due to arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport Monday at 5.40pm.
