Tax privilege applications in upper Northeast drops over 66 per cent

The applications for tax privileges in the upper part of the North-eastern of Thailand in January dropped 66.67 per cent year on year, seeing the applications by only two projects, according to Rattanawimol Nari Sukrikhet, director the Regional Investment and Economic Centre 3 of Board of Investment, Khon Khaen. The investment trend next month is expected to be flat due to the slowing economy and unfavourable political climate, which have made businesses feel reluctant to make new investment.
