Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul Saturday expressed confidence that no violence would happen at the rally site of the red-shirt movement at the Utthayan Road Saturday.

Surapong, chief advisor of the Centre for Administration of Peace and Order, said the prime minister instructed the CAPO to take good care of both rallies by the People’s Democratic Reform Committee and the United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship.

He said he had instructed Deputy Police Commissioner General Pol Gen Worapong Chiewpreecha to tighten security to prevent third-party groups from attacking the two rally sites.
