Smartphone robbery
Police prepares actions against motorcyclist robbers who target Chulalongkorn University students
Some students posted their complaints on the university’s web site that they have been robbed for smartphones while waiting at the bus stop on Phya Thai Road. These robbers wore helmets and came with friends. Those resisting risked physical attacks.
An official at Pathumwan Police Station said that according to security guards, these robbers came in their blue Honda motocycle. The police is checking CCTV in nearby areas and will increase the patrol frequency.
