Shop owner injured in Pattani bomb attack
Pattani - The owner of an animal feeds shop was slightly injured when an insurgent hurled a homemade bomb into her shop Monday afternoon.
The attack occurred at 2:30 pm at the Palus Animal Feeds Shop in Palus village in Tambon Kuan in Panare district.The shop owner, Mujarin Promlok, 46, was slightly cut at her left eyebrow and body with bomb shrapnel. She was sent to the Pattani Hospital for treatment.
The bomb was made with explosives and metal pieces stuffed in a soft drink can.
A security camera recorded two men arriving on the motorcycle and the pillion rider walking into the shop without covering his face. He pulled out the explosive can and lit it and threw into the shop before fleeing on the motorcycle.
