SEC urged to probe stock transactions
Pheu Thai deputy spokesman Anusorn Iamsa-ad on Sunday urged the Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate irregular transactions on some stocks.
He said the People’s Democratic Reform Committee’s actions resulted in a steep fall in the prices of some stocks. He alleged that there is a group of investors who bought into the stocks and used the capital gains to finance the protests.
"These cold-hearted could do anything they want, even if it’s illegal. The SEC should investigate this."
