Romklao's wife calls on PM to speed up probe into his death
Nicha Hiranburana Thuwatham, wife of the Army officer Romklao, on Tuesday petitioned for prompt attention on resolving how and why her husband was killed during the political strife in 2010.
Nicha directly asked Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to intervene in the case.
"The prime minister promises to follow up on the case progress," she said.
Romklao and four other Army officers were attacked and killed by grenades and assault rifles fired from the crowd when they were in charge of crowd control at Rajdamnoen Avenue during the reds protests.
