The Supreme Court has jail a man over a much-publicised fatal road rage incident, overruling the lower court's verdict.
Kanpitak Pachimsawat, widely known as “Moo Ham”, crashed his Mercedes Benz into a crowd of people in 2007, killing a bus conductor.
The 27-year-old, who has previously sought mental treatment, appeared calm as the verdict was read out yesterday. He has been jailed for two years and one month.
His parents, businessman Kan-anek and former beauty queen Savinee, were not present for the verdict.
Kanpitak was convicted on all counts for killing and injuring others.
According to witnesses, Kanpitak quarrelled with a bus driver and hit him with a rock on July 4, 2007.
