Protesters storm into Labour Ministry to battle police

Protesters stormed inside the compound of the Labour Ministry to battle police in front of a gate linking the ministry to the Thai-Japanese Stadium, Channel 3 reported.

After the protesters learned that the Election Commission officials and representatives of political parties used the gate inside the Labour Ministry to enter the stadium, they stormed into the ministry.

They tried to push police to retreat from the ministry to the stadium but police held the ground by firing teargases and rubber bullets at them.

A Channel 3 reporter said he was hit with a rubber bullet at his hip but he was not severely injured.
