Prayuth urges CMPO to act against red-shirt leader 'Ko Tee'

Army Commander-in-Chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha Thursday urged the Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order to act against a Pathum Thani red-shirt leader for having allegedly manifested the wish to partition Thailand.

Prayuth said he would ask the CMPO to speed up action against Wutthipong Kotchathamkhun, alias Ko Tee, for having put up a sign that calls for secession of the North and Northeast from Thailand.

Prayuth said the CMPO must take an action against the red-shirt leader because the body is in charge of keeping law and order in Bangkok and adjacent provinces.

The Army chief said Wutthipong had allegedly violated Articles 113, 114, 116 and 117 of the Criminal Code.
