Junta chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha said Friday that the National Council for Peace and Order was speeding up operations to tackle urgent problems on the daily basis.
During his weekly TV Programme, Prasyuth said the NCPO was now in the process of tackling urgent problems on the daily basis.
The issues being tackled by the NCPO included crime suppressions, fighting against crimes, gambling and drug as well as suppressing illegal logging. The NCPO was also combating influential people and seizing war weapons.
The junta was also helping farmers and implementing temporary measures to fight against economic hardship of the people.
