Pope says he will be "hidden to the world" after resignation
Vatican City - Pope Benedict XVI pledged Thursday to keep a low profile after he steps down at the end of the month.
"Even if I retire now I will always remain close to all of you in my prayers, and you will be close to me even if I remain hidden to the world," said the pontiff during an audience with parish priests from the diocese of Rome.
