Police seize 3.45 tonnes of marijuana
Police Friday seized the biggest haul of marijuana ever, about 3.45 tonnes of the illicit drug, from a house in Saraburi. It is worth about Bt51million.
The marijuana was put in parcel boxes with a British address listed as their destination.
The recipient is CKR SERVICE LTD CROSSWAYS CARGO CENTRE, GALLEON BOUVEVARD, DARFORD KENT, DA2 6QE TEL 01322389464.
The sender on the parcel is identified as
IMPRESS TRADING CO.,LTD 92/23 MOO 6 ,KHWANG THARAENG KHET BANGKHANE BANGKOK, THAILAND TEL 6622890511,FAX.6626890953.
Police arrested Nipon or Yap Mopad, 43, for having the illicit drug in possession. His arrest was announced at a press conference.
