Phongthep sees progress on reform
Deputy Prime Minister Phongthep Thepkanjana expected fast progress in the political reform initiative, expecting the three sub-committees to complete their assessment within this year.
The sub-committees are accumulating reform proposals on the political, economic, and social areas.
Speaking on a radio programme on FM92.5 MHz, Phongthep insisted that Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra was sincere about reforming. The political reform committee's meeting, chaired by former prime minister and Chart Thai Pattana Party chief adviser Banharn Silapa-archa, will consider all suggestions to ensure a successful reform, he said.
