Pheu Thai leader Yongyuth resigns
Yongyuth Wichaidit has declared resignation as an MP and Pheu Thai Party's leader on Thursday. The resignation is effective immediately.
Yongyuth resigned from the posts of the first deputy prime minister and interior minister on Friday after National Anti-Corruption Commission indicted him in June as malfeasance in the Alpine scandal.
Interior Ministry on September 20 ordered to retroactively expel Yongyuth as the then deputy permanentsecretary of interior in 2002.
