Pheu Thai MP opposes Jatuporn's ministerial appointment
Pheu Thai MP Chalong Raewrang has stepped out to oppose the anticipated appointment of red-shirt leader Jatuporn Promphan as a Cabinet member.
Chalong said Jatuporn should clear his name about his alleged offence against the monarchy before accepting his ministerial portfolio, otherwise he would become a government's time bomb.
"Prime Minister Pu should reconsider bringing Jatuporn into the Cabinet," he said, referring to PM Yingluck Shinawatra by her nickname.
