Pakdeeharn is new govt mouthpiece

The Cabinet has approved Pakdeeharn Himathongkham as deputy government spokesman, following the transfer of Anuttama Amornvivat to secretary of the Social Development and Human Security Minister, acting government spokeswoman Thitiman Chaisaeng said Tuesday.

"It is a quota from the Bangkok group," Thitima said, referring to a faction within the Pheu Thai Party led by banned politician Sudarat Keyuraphan.
