PTT's refineries ready for possible supply disruption
Refineries of PTT Group are instructed to closely monitor the situation in Syria and ensure that reserves are enough for domestic consumption.
Syria is facing pressure, following reports that chemical weapons were launched and had claimed hundreds of victims. Oil prices have been climbing up, on possible disruption of oil supplies from the Middle East. Dubai crude oil yesterday was at US$113 per barrel.
Pailin Chuchottaworn, president of PTT, said that global oil prices are now expected to move in the range of $110-$120 per barrel.
"All refineries are instructed to maintain reserve levels," he said.
