Accompanying her will be a number of ministers and representatives of government agencies and private companies. The Board of Investment will host an investment forum on March 22 in Oakland and Yingluck will welcome New Zealand’s prime minister to a cocktail reception. On the next day, Oakland of Technology will also present her the honourary doctoral degree as an outstanding woman in international affairs.
On March 25, she will witness the signing of memorandum of understanding by Thai Chamber of Commerce and the trade chamber of Papua New Guinea. The island country has abundant supplies of gas, woods and tuna. Thai Union Frozen Products is among a few Thai companies investing in the country.
