Priewphan said the Metropolitan Police Bureau had received tips-off and learned that the suspect would launch a new round of bomb attacks in the capital. Investigators managed to arrest him at 3 am, the national police chief said.
The suspect was identified only as Jirawat.
Police bomb disposal officers rushed to disposed a bomb found on Soi Lat Krabang, another in front of Bangkok Bank branch on Soi Sukhumvit 77 and another on Soi Onnuj 90.
