The Election Commission is expected to announce the opening of nominations for members of the National Reform Council by August 13, secretary-general Puchong Nutrawong said Friday.
He said the opening for legal entities to nominate NRC members should be from August 14 until September 2. The EC would then take 10 days to verify that nominees are qualified. Then, from September 1322, the EC would submit the names to a selection committee to make shortlists, he said.
The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) was expected to consider shortlists and select 250 NRC members by October 2, he said.
