Narathiwat teacher shot dead while having lunch
Suspected insurgent shot dead Ban Tanyong School teacher Chonthee Charoenchon in Narathiwat's Bacho district at the school's canteen in front of 292 pupils during lunch break Wednesday, bringing the teacher death toll in this unrest region to 158.
The 51-year-old teacher was shot in the head twice, while he was greeted by one of the four suspected insurgents on two motorcycles who disguised as parents.
