The National Council for Peace and Order has unofficially summoned Khunying Potjaman Na Pombejra, the unregistered wife of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, NCPO spokesman Col Winthai Suwaree told reporters Sunday.
Speaking to reporters at the Army Club, Winthai said Pojaman was unofficially summoned for a talk. She is among the cases of persons invited to meet the NCPO without official order, Winthai said.
He said he did not know whether NCPO chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha would talk to Thaksin or not.
But Kanchanapa Honghern, secretary to Khunying Pojaman Na Pombejra, ex-wife of fugitive former PM Thaksin Shinawatra, sent a representatives to inform the NPOMC that she had been treated in hospital.
The spokesman said he still did not have information as to whether former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra would be released.
