The National Anti-Corruption Commission Tuesday resolved to conduct an investigation against 308 ex-MPs and senators for having supported the unconstitutional charter amendment bill on Senate's composition.
The NACC decided to investigate 293 ex-MPs and senators who voted for the bill in the first and second readings. It also decided to probe 15 ex-MPs and senators who sponsored the bill.
The Constitutional Court has ruled that the bill was unconstitutional. Following the ruling, complaints were filed against 381 ex-MPs and senators for their role in passing the bill.
