Myanmar's supreme commander visits Thailand Friday

Myanmar's supreme commander General Min Aung Hlaing is making an official visit to Thailand Friday to strengthen the neighbouring countries' ties.



He will confer with his Thai counterpart General Tanasak Patimapragorn, who is also deputy director of the ruling National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), at the Royal Thai Armed Forces Command before visiting Privy Council President Prem Tinsulanonda at his Si Sao Theves residence. 
In the afternoon, he will meet with NCPO director General Prayuth Chan-ocha.
