Muslim man shot dead in Narathiwat teashop

Narathiwat - A Muslim man was shot and killed inside a teashop in this southern border province early Tuesday, police said.

Azi Mazila, 39, was shot twice on his chest with 9mm pistol while drinking tea with friends inside a shop in Moo 3 village in Tambon Sribanphot in Si Sa Khon district at 5:20 am.

Witnesses told police that Azi was attacked by a pillion rider shortly after his motorcycle parked in front of the shop.
