Thai Premier League leaders Muangthong secured its berth in the quarterfinals of the knockout competition after an own goal and a Mario Gjurovski effort clinched them the narrow win on Wednesday's evening against a Nakhonratchasima side currently topping the Division One table.

Five hundreds of Muagthong fans travelled to support the team at His Majesty the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary stadium but they had to stay at the venue for two hours after the end of the match. Disgruntled Ratchasima fans also surrounded Muangthong's team bus, blocking it from leaving.
