Man hurt by Pattani bomb
Pattani -- An explosion erupted in Pattani's red-light zone Saturday night, injuring a man. But security officials successfully disposed a second bomb, hidden inside a three-wheel motorcycle, before it went off.
Police said the blast went off at around 7.30pm in Muang district where several night-time karaoke parlours were located. Pon Chumpon, 41, was hit by the shrapnel and rushed to the Pattani Hospital. The incident caused panic among locals near the scene. The Nation
