Malaysian premier says no proof yet of hijacking

Kuala Lumpur - Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak on Saturday said investigators were still considering all possibilities as to what happened to the missing Malaysia Airlines passenger jet that disappeared last weekend.

"Despite media reports that the plane was hijacked, I wish to be very clear we are still investigating all possibilities as to what caused MH370 to deviate from its original flight path," he told a press conference.

The Beijing-bound plane disappeared from radar on March 8, about an hour after it took off from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, and seems to have changed course.
