Malaysia stops sale of sex education book by British author
The office said it would temporarily stop the sale of the book Where Did I Come From to study if the contents could harm Malaysians’ moral character.
The 44-page book, written by Peter Mayle in 1973 for children and their parents, describes the reproductive process from intercourse to birth.
The Home Affairs Ministry said its action was prompted by complaints from concerned citizens. It said bookstores nationwide agreed to pull the book while the investigation was being conducted.//dpa
