Magnitude-6.9 earthquake hits south-west Colombia
Bogota - A 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck Saturday in south-western Colombia near the Ecuadoran border, the US Geological Survey said.
Three people suffered minor injuries, and dozens of houses were damaged, Radio Caracol reported.The quake took place at 9:16 am (14:16 GMT) at a depth of 186 kilometres. Its epicentre was 40 kilometres south-west of the city of Pasto.//DPA
