Magnitude-6.2 quake hits eastern Japan
Tokyo - A magnitude-6.2 earthquake struck eastern Japan Monday afternoon, the Meteorological Agency said.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property. The agency did not issue a tsunami warning.The epicentre of the 4:23 pm (0723 GMT) quake was in northern Tochigi prefecture, north of Tokyo, with a depth of 10 kilometres, the agency said.//DPA
