Junta tells NBTC to find way to 'make people happy' with World Cup broadcasts

The National Council for Peace and Order has instructed the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission to find a way to allow all Thais to watch World Cup matches free of charge.

The NBTC said in a statement that it had invited the license owner, RS, to discuss the issue but no conclusion had been reached.

The statement said the NBTC's telecom fund would hold a meeting to discuss the issue Thursday.
