The National Council for Peace and Order has instructed the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission to find a way to allow all Thais to watch World Cup matches free of charge.

The NBTC said in a statement that it had invited the license owner, RS, to discuss the issue but no conclusion had been reached.
The statement said the NBTC’s telecom fund would hold a meeting to discuss the issue Thursday.
