Job fair for flood-hit workers
Over 100 large and small leading Japanese companies in automotive, electrical and related supporting industries, as well as service providers will join a job fair, hosted for flood-hit workers and the unemployed.
These companies are in need of more work-force to facilitate their business expansion in Thailand.
Hosted by Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok (JCCB), and Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, the job fair is on February 16, 2012. Taking place between 8.30am-4pm at the parking lot of Ayudhaya Park Mall, Ayutthaya, the event functions as a job matching activity between Japanese enterprises and flood-hit workers and the unemployed.
"The job-matching event Thai-Yipun Kao Pai Duay Kan aims to help workers, who were laid off by flood-hit businesses, get back to their jobs in a timely manner," said Setsuo Iuchi, president of JETRO Bangkok.
