Japan soon to have first train with foot spa

Tokyo - Japanese bullet trains will soon offer a new luxury during rides: a foot spa.

One of the Shinkansen wagons operated by the JR East railways company will have two bathtubs about two and half metres long, filled with hot water for travellers to soothe weary feet, according to Japanese tourism officials.

The first train will run on the Yamagata Shinkansen Line starting in mid-July, between Fukushima and Shinjo.
